Founded in 1982 by Mr. Huang Yongqiang, The General Manager, Dragon Heart Medical Devices Co. Ltd. is located in Kaiping City known for its Diaolou, a world heritage named by UNESCO.

With strong and expanding capabilities in mold building, tubing extrusion and injection molding, the company is a leading medical device manufacturer in China specializing in product research, development and manufacturing. Main products under “Dragon Heart” brand name include IV catheters, medical tissue adhesive, infusion sets, syringes and many other products in various categories. Its annual gross output exceeds 100 million Yuan; the company enjoyed a steady growth.

Dragon Heart was one of the first few privately owned companies that sanctioned by the China state health authorities for manufacturing medical devices in the 1980’s.  Through years of hard work, a small medical plastic factory with only 300 yuan startup funds has grown into an enterprise that has a registered capital of over 10 million yuan today.  A 50 square meters workshop in the early days has expanded to modern manufacturing facilities that cover an area of 60,000 square meters, with a production floor of 26,000 square meters, 4300 square meters of Class 100,000 cleanroom that meet GMP standards, completed with a well-equipped mold shop, a Class 100,000 cleanroom dedicated to packaging pouch making, EtO sterilizers and a comprehensive quality control center. 

Dragon Heart products are marketed domestically in China as well as internationally in Asia, Europe and North America. Our reputation in product quality, in services and in price competitiveness has gained trust of customers in new or well-established markets alike. Since 1993, Dragon Heart Medical has been a proud supplier for several world famous companies on the top 100 list in the industry. In 2002, Dragon Heart Medical, Inc. USA was established in Chicago to better develop and service North American markets. A new product development division was set up in 2012 in Los Angeles focusing on new technology products. Engineers from several major US medical companies are teamed up to work in this division.
